This Acceptable-Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to all customers, users, and anyone accessing the Hotel Response™ platform (the “Service”).
Its purpose is to protect consumer privacy, maintain network integrity, and ensure legal, ethical use of the Service.
You may use the Service solely for lawful business purposes in compliance with:
Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) & A2P 10DLC rules
CAN-SPAM Act and similar anti-spam laws
EU/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global data-protection laws
All applicable local, state, federal, and carrier regulations
You may not use the Service to:
Send prohibited content, including but not limited to:
SHAFT categories (sexually explicit, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco/vape, cannabis)
Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading claims
Illegal gambling, payday loans, or other high-risk restricted industries
Send unsolicited bulk messaging (spam) or bypass opt-in requirements.
Fail to honor opt-outs — you must process all STOP/unsubscribe requests immediately.
Scrape, harvest, or purchase consumer data in violation of data-protection or anti-spam laws.
Infringe intellectual-property rights of any party or misrepresent your identity.
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, including reverse-engineering or exploiting vulnerabilities.
Share login credentials outside your organization or resell the Service without prior written consent.
Upload or transmit any malicious code, malware, or harmful scripts.
You must obtain documented, verifiable opt-in consent before sending marketing SMS, MMS, email, or voice calls.
Pre-checked boxes are not allowed.
Every promotional message must include your business identity, message frequency, opt-out instructions (e.g., “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”), and a help method (e.g., “Reply HELP for help”).
You are responsible for safeguarding personal data you collect or import into the Service.
Do not share, sell, or transfer contact data to third parties obtained via the platform.
Follow your own posted Privacy Policy and our Hotel Response DPA.
Violations of this Policy may result in warning, suspension, or immediate termination of access to messaging features or the entire account.
Serious or repeated violations may be reported to mobile carriers, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities.
You remain liable for all fines, penalties, or damages arising from your misuse of the Service.
We may update this Policy from time to time.
All changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
